We know that many people are amused by the fact that we have our three dogs as part of the office team on our website.  They also feature in our commercial radio ads for Uckfield FM and in fact have their fans who come to visit them.

Sadly Muppet had not been well for a number of months and despite the very best efforts of Starnes & Gatward, her health continued to deteriorate.  A few weeks ago she took a serious turn for the worse and is now in doggy heaven.  We all miss her very much.

She was a tremendous character.  She came to us as a nine week old pup and right from the very start she came to the office every day and really enjoyed the routine.  For many years we occupied offices at the Coach House in Church Street next to Holy Cross Church and whenever there was a wedding on and the bells were being rung, she was always anxious to look out the window to see what was going on.

For many years we have had a close association with a firm of solicitors who are also in Church Street and one of their partners used to visit us on a very regular basis (now retired).  Muppet took to widling on his shoes when he visited which I am sure was an event meant to be of affection!

For some years Muppet has always been top dog, keeping Bart and Barney under her paw.  She was incredibly competitive, always having to be the first to retrieve any ball thrown.  When we moved to the new offices at The Granary, she enjoyed sitting outside the front door in the sunshine watching people go past towards the High Street.  She always had an affinity for small children when they came to visit us and often people walking past with children would stop and make a fuss of her.

She will be sorely missed by all.
